INTRODUCING THE HOUSE OF MAHJ STUDIO FIRST EVER CUSTOM MAHJONG TILE SET!
This set was lovingly designed with the intent of honoring the origins of the game along with the culture from which it originated. Each tile was carefully curated for different categories of the heritage. The Bams reflect the prominence of Bamboo in the region with the matching dragon being the well loved Panda. The Craks depict Chinese Lanterns with traditional Chinese characters and a matching Red Panda with a Sun for the dragon. Lastly, the Dots feature beautiful Cherry Blossoms with a coordinating white dragon, but we didn’t stop there…our directional tiles feature Chinese coin centers while our flowers represent the tradition of Tea. Lastly our Jokers are adorned with beautiful fans and tea time.
Each acrylic tile is engraved and UV printed for superb details and long-lasting quality. The individual layers of the tiles are created with a seamless bonding process to ensure a more unified look and feel vs. visible layers. The tiles feature a sage green base tile and a clear acrylic cane patterned back that we are very excited to tie into our coordinating Merry Magnolia Mahjong Mat.
